Injury Awareness Week

The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Injury Awareness Week takes place this year between 26 – 30 June 2023.

30,000 people in the UK are injured by negligence every week on average and these injuries can have serious and lifelong consequences. This #IAWeek2023, APIL are asking everyone to think about the impact of an injury that could and should have been avoided.

APIL commissioned a YouGov survey and found that in the past 12 months, an estimated 1.6 million adults in the UK believe that they have become ill or been injured because of someone else’s negligence, which is an average of 30,000 injured victims of negligence each week, often with life changing injuries.
