| Dealing with an estate where there is no will (intestacy)

When someone dies without leaving a valid will (known as intestate), there can be confusion as to what happens next and how the estate should be dealt with.

In these cases, the Intestacy Rules apply, which set out how the estate should be split.

How can we help?

Our team have years of experience in dealing with intestate estates. We can guide you through the process, working out exactly who inherits what.

As with probate where there is a will, we can give you as much advice and guidance as you like. Our services include obtaining the letters of administration, dealing with any inheritance tax liability, and distributing the estate.

Where possible, we like to meet our clients face to face (either at one of our offices or at your home if you prefer). Alternatively, we can conduct meetings via Skype.

We are proud to offer transparent and fair pricing and will offer a fixed fee for our intestate estate administration where possible.

Contact us today for a FREE initial discussion with our specialist probate and estates administration team.
